Carolyn Crawford Patterson

Carolyn Crawford Patterson, age 65, died at Jackson Hospital Sunday, August 16th after heart complications. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Wayne Patterson of 42 years. She is survived by her sister Diane Crawford Barron, husband Ray; her two sons, Charles Wayne Patterson Jr. (Chase), wife Kari, Luke Crawford Patterson, wife Nikki; and her three beautiful grandbabies, Cambry, Layton and Henley, plus new arrival on the way Noah Luke. They knew her as Gigi.

Carolyn was a person who never met a stranger. She could sit down and carry on a conversation with anyone and make them laugh. This love for people led her to a career as a nurse.

She was a loving wife, mother, sister, mother-in-law, grandmother and a dear friend to many lifelong friends.

Her favorite things and our fondest memories were spending weekends at the ballpark watching her two boys play baseball, family beach vacations, and hosting holiday pool parties for family and friends.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at White Chapel – Greenwood on Friday, August 21, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. with family friend Paul Lammon officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior and graveside immediately following the service.
