Brenda is survived by her husband of 30 years, Jonathan Jackson; mother Betty Russell; and brother Dan (Lauren) Russell as well as Aunts, Uncles, many cousins, a legion of friends far and wide, especially Montgomery's community of musicians. Brenda was preceded in death by; father Charlie Russell and her first husband, Larry "Ezup" Frazier.
A graduate of Jeff Davis High School, Mrs. Jackson was the bookkeeper for Bailey Brothers Music in Montgomery where she encouraged many local musicians. She enjoyed watching Alabama football and caring for her dogs; Bella, Bogie and Patsy Cline.
The family would like to extend a special "Thank You" to: Dr. James Jakes and staff, Dr. Wesley Barry Jr. and staff and especially the awesome staff of Comfort Care Hospice.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Brenda's memory may be made to Lupus Foundation; and Montgomery Humane Society.
Due to the CDC recommendations and Alabama’s Stay-At-Home order, a family only visitation and graveside are set for Friday, April 10. Due to Coronavirus concerns, a memorial service will be scheduled when social restrictions are lifted.
