Brenda Poitevint Gilliland

GILLILAND, Brenda P., 59, of Montgomery passed away on Thursday, November 3, 2011. A native of Montgomery, Brenda worked for over 25 years as an insurance clerk Dr. John E. Hackman. She was a member of Forest Park Baptist Church until it closed in 2005 and currently was a member at Heritage Baptist Church in Montgomery. Preceded in death by her parents: Robert and Annette Poitevint and mother in law: Bessie Gilliland. She is sur-vived by her husband: Henry Gilliland of Montgomery; Daughters: Jennifer Gilliland Rutland and her husband, Casey; Amy Gilliland, both of Montgomery; Sister: Renee Gilliland and husband, Leo; Brothers in law: David Gilliland and wife Debbie; Richard Gilliland; Grandchildren: Caden and Shelby Rutland; Special niece: Hollie Gilliland Denison and husband Chris and their children: Blaine and Katelyn, all of Montgomery; Special nephew: Leo Gilliland, Jr. and wife Cara of Birmingham, and other nieces, nephews, family and friends. Visitation will be from 4 to 6 pm Sunday, November 6, 2011 at Leak Memory Chapel. Funeral services will be at 11 am Monday, November 7, at Leak Memory Chapel with Dr. Teman Knight and Rev. John Gaines officiating. Interment will follow at Green -wood Cemetery.
