After serving 32 years in the Air Force, Bill worked for the United States Postal Service for 10 years. He was a sports enthusiast along with being an avid Arkansas fan. During his playing years, his love of baseball afforded him a lifetime batting average of 267.
He is survived by his wife of 10 years, Toni Reaves Jolly; one brother James Jolly of Plano, TX; daughters and son-in- laws: Brenda White (Dick) Forney, TX, JoAnn Grimes (Ed) Montgomery, AL, Karen Gallahar (David) Montgomery, AL; Step -daughters: Janice Whitman (Jeff) The Villages, FL, Angie Jones (Ron) The Villages, FL; Step-sons: Dave Reaves (Tammy) Mobile, AL, Mike Reaves (Stefanie) Mobile, AL; Grandchildren, William Pugh (Caitlin), Ramsey Grimes, Caroline and Jordan Gallahar, Dustin Reaves (Amanda), Brock and Alex Reaves, and Ella and Jack Reaves; Great-Grandchildren, Sophie Pugh, Austin and Blake Reaves, and Lawson and Charlie Howell; as well as a host of nieces, nephews and cousins in Texas. He was preceded in death by his parents Hugh and Doris Jolly and his wife of 44 years Margie Jolly, brothers; Carroll Jolly, H.E. Jolly, Bobby Jolly and grandson Kyle Reaves.
Pallbearers will be Tony Jolly, Robert Jolly, Jimmy Huggins, Dennis Huggins, William Pugh and Brock Reaves. Honorary pallbearers are Pat Jolly and Terry Jolly.

Visitation will be held at Alabama Heritage Funeral Home on Sunday, March 6, 2016 from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m.
A Celebration of Life Service will be at Alabama Heritage Funeral Home on Monday, March 7, 2016 at 11:00 a.m.
