Betty Stephens, formally of Maplesville, Al., passed away November 10, 2019 in Youngstown, Fl. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rudolph Stephens and her son, Leonard Culp. She is survived by her daughters, Carrie Monagham (Ronald) and Debra McQuagge (Quinton), and her grandchildren and great grandchildren and many extended relatives.
Betty was a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church in Maplesville and was a telephone operator for Southern Bell and later worked in maintenance when Southern Bell became AT & T. Betty and her husband were active in the Shriners and Betty was very active in the Daughter of Nile. Betty was also a loving caregiver.
A visitation for Betty will be held Friday, November 15, 2019 at Leak Memory Chapel at 10 am with a graveside service at 11:15 am at Montgomery Memorial Cemetery.
