Betty Sue Spivey

Betty Spivey passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, June 17, 2020 surrounded by her family. She was born in Montgomery, Alabama in 1931. After graduating from Sidney Lanier High School in 1950, she attended Jones Business School. She was a paralegal in Montgomery for over 50 years. She was a talented artist who loved sharing her paintings with friends and family. She was kind and loving and generous to friends and strangers. She married her best friend, Aubry Spivey in 1953. He preceded her in death as did her parents, Everette and Isabell Rester. She leaves behind her son, Eddie and his wife Rhonda; her daughter, Pamela; her sister, Doris Wallace and sister-in-law, Vicky Bowden; granddaughter, Elizabeth and great grandchildren, Aaron and Lilly Beth; as well as many loving nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Dale Spivey, Kenneth Spivey, Stan Spivey, Jeff Spivey, Paul Bowden, Shepard Bowden and Brady Bowden. Her family wishes to thank Hospice of Montgomery nurse, Nedra Kelly; her loving friend and caregiver, Terrie Rudolph; Dr. Larry Williams; and Paul, Shepard, and Brady Bowden for always being there to help.
