Smith, Betty Jean, 81 of Montgomery (originally from Ky.) departed this world on April 14, 2011. Preceded in death by son Thomas R. Smith. She is survived by her sister Frances Stevens of KY Her daughter Reeda K. McElwaney (James E.), son Terry B. Smith (Donna), 7 grandchildren, Shaye Bruner (Greg), Bettinna Varner, James C. McElwaney (Inez), Johnathan McElwaney (Tanya), Faith Dean (James), Patience Smith, Lacy Smith, 7 great-granchildren and 1 great-great grandaughter, Services will be held at Leak Memory Chapel, April 18 at 1:00, interment will follow at Forest Hills Cemetery.
