Betty Mott Posey

October 28, 1933 – March 21, 2016

Betty M. Posey, a longtime resident of Montgomery, Alabama (previously of Red Level), died on Monday, March 21. She was preceded in death by her husband; Martin W. Posey, an infant son; John Martin Posey, her parents; J.D. & Audrey Mott, three sisters; Bernice, Orela and Wilda; two brothers; Ray and David Mott. She is survived by her two sons; Ronnie Posey (Milynda) and Rickie Posey (Mary Ann), and one daughter; Joyce Posey Law. Her grandchildren include; Justin Wayne Law, Charles Martin Posey, Benjamin Michael Posey, Angela Leigh Posey. Mrs. Posey is also survived by one sister; Joan Mott Danley (Bill), Sisters-in Law; Estelle Salter, numerous nieces and nephews and the church family of Open Acres Baptist Church.

She will be remembered as a faithful member of Open Acres Baptist Church, a loving mother, a caring sister and a devoted wife. All these relationships were marked by a strong determination to serve her friends and family. In lieu of flowers send donations to Open Acres Baptist Church, Fibromyalgia, Osteoporosis or Diabetic Associations.
