Betty Jean Dunn

Betty Jean Dunn, 74, a lifelong resident of Montgomery, passed away peacefully in her home on Friday evening, December 21, 2018. Mrs. Dunn was preceded in death by her parents, John and Jewel Ward of Frisco City, Alabama. She is survived by her husband of 54 years, William (Bill) Dunn, Sr., her two sons, William (Robby) Dunn, Jr. (Lisa) and Bryan Dunn (Cindy); grandchildren Bryan Andrew (Drew) Dunn, William Robert (Trey) Dunn III, Jacob Hunter Dunn; step grandchildren, Robert R. Ingram, Justin C. Ingram and 7 great grandchildren. She is also survived by a special aunt, Zoe Wilkerson of Springhill, Al. Mrs. Dunn is also survived by numerous extended family and friends.

Mrs. Dunn served as a teacher with the Montgomery County School Board for over 30 years with vast majority of her time at Cloverdale Jr. High school in Montgomery.

A visitation for Mrs. Dunn will be held Wednesday, December 26, 2018 from 11:00 a.m. – 12:15 p.m. with a graveside service at Greenwood Cemetery at 12:15 p.m. Rev. Michael Northcut from Eastmont Baptist Church. Pallbearers will be Ken Ward, Randall Jernigan, Mike Roberts, Jerry Wilkerson, Gary Frith and Greg Oswalt.
