Betsy Milton

Betsy Milton, age 75, of Montgomery, Alabama passed away on Thursday, October 12, 2023. Born in Wisconsin to Ralph Zimmerman and Bernice Fletcher Zimmerman, she found her way to Montgomery, Alabama and married her favorite bus driver, Travis Milton. Married for 30 years, she is survived by her husband, Travis Milton; her son Grant (Courtney) Cornell; her daughter, Amee (Dallas) Nelson; and her grandchildren, Carlie Nelson, Alex Nelson, Kaiden Cornell and Gabriel Cornell; as well as her siblings, Janette Ossman, Mavis Plotz and Jeanine Netzel.

Mrs. Milton worked as a clerk for the State of Alabama and attended Eastmont Baptist Church where she was a part of their prayer ministry. She enjoyed needlepoint and embroidery as well as listening to Travis sing and play his guitar. Her contagious smile made everyone feel warm and accepted.

A Family and Friends Visitation for Betsy will be held Thursday, October 19, 2023 at 10:00 AM at Leak Memory Chapel, 945 Lincoln Rd, Montgomery, Alabama 36109. Following Visitation there will be a Graveside Service at 11:00 AM at Greenwood Serenity Memorial Gardens, 909 Lincoln Rd, Montgomery, Alabama 36109.
