Belle Crosby

Belle L. Crosby, 95, a resident of Montgomery, AL, passed away on Sunday, December 2, 2012. Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 6, 2012 from 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm at White Chapel Funeral Home, with funeral services beginning at 2:00 p.m. Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery. Mrs. Crosby was a very loving and compassionate person. She was very good at demonstrating her love through cooking and sewing. She was a graduate of the Alabama School for the Deaf. Mrs. Crosby was preceded in death by her husband, George Jenkins Crosby. She is survived by three children; James A. Crosby (Colleen) of Talladega, Drusilla Johnson of Montgomery, George C. Crosby (Mindy) of Montgomery; two granddaughters, Katherine C. McLendon of Talladega, Louise C. Lockridge (Kenneth) of Oxford; and four great granddaughters, Hannah and Rebecca McLendon of Lincoln and Anna Hope and Genna Grace Lockridge of Oxford.
