He graduated second in his class of 2019 from Montgomery Catholic Preparatory School. He enjoyed playing his guitar, building computers, playing magic cards at the game store, fishing, hunting, and golding. He loved his family, friends and of course his dog Minnie.
Austin was studying engineering at the University of Alabama when he was diagnosed with Medulloblastoma. He then decided to transfer to AUM Montgomery and changed his major to business administration with an interest in finance. He was greatly loved by his family and his friends and was exceptional in every way, but especially in his great faith in Jesus.
He is survived by his parents, Bernard John Collett Jr. an dBeth Anne Collett; brother, Jonathan Wynn Collett and his wife Lauren; nephew, Luke Collett.
A funeral mass for Austin will be held Tuesday, November 21, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 am at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 8570 Vaughn Rd, Montgomery, AL 36117.
