Dear Paula and family....I am so sorry we are just learning about Arnie's passing.  Mike and I know the heartache that comes with losing your life partner.   We hope for you peace, and that you are surround by loving family, and memories of Arnie's joy he brought to those that he loved.

I'm so sorry to hear of this. Arnie always had a smile on his face whenever I saw him. He was one of the kindest and soft spoken man I've ever met. His passing is a loss toany. Much love to his family!

Throughout my sophomore and junior years in high school, Arnie put up with a lot of, er, rambunctiousness from the usually-dateless-on-weekends group of guys with which he and I hung out regularly (he was the only one of us who had access to a car and everybody else, including Arnie, was a year ahead of me).  And I was one of the most, um, demonstrative.

Listening to WHHY (which changed formats to Top 40 while we were in high school) as well as black stations like WRMA and WAPX.  Hanging out on the Biff Burger on the Southern By-Pass next to Bonanza steak restaurant (and across from Dog N' Suds). 

He also turned out to be one of the more responsible individuals in the clique in the "real life" facet of existence after high school.

I hadn't seen him in decades but he made a point of catching up with me a few years ago at a high school reunion at Wynlakes (for more than one class, but primarily for his '67 peers). I enjoyed our reminiscence, and he did, too. 

He was one of the good guys. 

Arnie was such a wonderful person and friend. He and his father were one of the first folks I met when I moved here back in 1972. He will be dearly missed by all. He was a great family man. Prayers to Paula and Heather. Gid bless you all.  Rick Barregarye 

Paula & Heather, we were so distraught to hear of Arnie's passing. He was truly one of the "good guys." Arnie's delightful sense of humor & willingness to go the extra mile to help folks made him special. And who could resist that impish grin? Our hearts go out to you & the rest of his family.

I’m sorry for your loss Paula, Harvey and the rest of the Fast family. Arnie was one of the best people I’ve ever had the privilege to work for. He once told me he would never ask me to do anything that he himself would not do I’ll always remember that. He will be missed. 

We are saddened by the loss of our dear longtime friend. He is in his heavenly home with no pain or suffering.  I can hear he and Johnny talking about car stuff and how to make a bowling ball roll for a perfect game.  We will miss him but his memory will live on in our hearts.  Prayers for Paula and Heather and family as they remember all the good days and happy times with him. Love, John and Betty.

I will always be greatful for all the times Arnie helped me with youth coaching and board meetings. His calmness and advice proved to be very valuable to me.

I will never forget the many years Arnie & I spent bowling with and against one another.  I always strived to be as good a bowler Arnie was (I am still trying).  I remember Arnie & I helping teach his Daughter (Heather) and my Son (Jeremy) to bowl when they were 10 years old and bowling in the Junior Tournaments all over the Southeast.  I will miss you my Friend, Arnie.  Thoughts and Prayers for Paula & Heather, as well as other Family members.

Arnie was in the 1967 Class at Lanier.  What a sweet person he was.  We always knew each other at the reunions. Made me so sad to see this. Prayers for the family

Arnie had such a love for bowling and helping people to do better and get a higher average. He was always there to help the kids too. A great smile and a wonderful man. He will be sorely missed. 

My condolences to the family, Arnie and everyone at Fast Auto Parts helped me start my racing, Arnie sold me the motor from his Camaro and I am grateful for all the help Mr. Fast Arnie, Paula and Harvey gave me throughout the years the Fast Auto Parts was around, so sorry to hear that he has passed away.
