Anita Jane Cook

COOK, Anita Jane, 69, a Montgomery resident, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, July 10, 2010. Preceded in death by her husband, Dwayne “Bo” Cook and child Michael Shane Story. She is survived by her daughter, Marian Kimberly Bullard (Dr. Harrell Bullard) of Montgomery; sons, Jackie Gene Cook (Patricia) of Des Moines, IA, and Kenneth Dwayne Cook of Phoenix, AZ; grandchildren, Michael Cook, Chris Cook (Kristi), Savannah Bullard, Anna Claire Bullard; great-grandchildren, Blake Cook and Jhett Cook; and a sister, Carolyn Ellis (Eddie) of Tullahoma, TN. An active member of Frazer Memorial UMC and the Red Hat Society, she was a 2010 River Region Volunteer of the Year Nominee, President of her neighborhood homeowners’ association, and started the Neighborhood Watch in Bellwood. She also proudly served in VIPS (Volunteer in Police Service). Her Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, July 13, 2010, at 4:00 PM, at Frazer Memorial United Methodist Church, with Dr. Tim Thompson officiating. Visitation will be an hour prior to the service at 3:00 PM. Her interment will be held on Wednesday, July, 14, 2010, with a Graveside Service at 3:00 PM at Spring Hill Cemetery, in Nashville, TN.
