She is preceded in death by her parents, Hugh Thomas Coston and Effie Lee Coston. Betty is survived by her sister, Faye Coston Galloway (Broshie); her children, David Martin Folmar (Sherri) and Cathy Folmar Cox (John); her grandchildren, Elizabeth Lane Folmar (Anthony Raybon), Katie Cox Overby (Josh), David Martin Folmar, Jr. and Justin Lamar Cox; and her dear nieces, nephews, and cousins.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 6, 2019 from 10:00 to 11:00 am at Alabama Heritage Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life Service will begin at 11:00 am with Dr. Roy Sublette officiating. David Folmar, Jr., Anthony Raybon, Justin Cox, Josh Overby, Mark Galloway, and Hugh Galloway will serve as pallbearers.
Memorials may be made to Murphy’s Chapel Church – Cemetery Fund or the charity of your choice in memory of Ms. Betty. The family would like to thank Ida Walker and Theresa Chaney for their love, compassion, and special care of Ms. Betty.
