Albert Richard "Dickie" Knighton, passed away at the age of 78. Son of Kate Knighton Hatfield and Dick Knighton. He retired from Revlon Government Sales after 35 years.
He is survived by his wife Helen Kay Knighton, son Brad Knighton (Lynn) and daughter Cheryl West (J.C.); his grandchildren Mary Bradley, Anna and Katie Knighton and Kade, Gage and Gavin West; his cousins Margaret Colquett and Kitt Bowen (Eric).
He had a passion for golf and Alabama football. He was known for his kind heart and his charming personality. Above all he loved and nurtured his family.
Visitation will be held at White Chapel - Greenwood Funeral Home on Monday, September 12, 2022 from 12:00 p.m. until 1:00 p.m. with a graveside immediately following in Greenwood Cemetery.
