Addison Brooks Warren passed away November 9, 2023. He was born in Asheboro, NC, April 15, 1946. He was a graduate of Huntingdon College and Tulane University, where he received a Master’s in Social Work.
After serving in the Army in Vietnam he taught Sociology at Huntingdon College for 25 years. For the past 11 years, he served as a Counselor at the VA hospital in Tuskegee, AL. He touched countless lives, and is remembered for his fun-loving, enthusiastic, open, engaging, empathetic, interesting, and inarguably extraordinary spirit.
During his undergrad at Huntingdon College he was captain of the Tennis team and went on to enjoy tennis for many years after. In addition, he loved reading, watching movies, listening to music and most of all watching live music with his friends and especially his son, Mike Warren.
He was preceded by his parents Addison and Katherine Warren. He is survived by his son Michael A. Warren, his wife Sarah, two grandsons Grant Addison Warren (10) and Connor Avett Warren (7) and his brother Ricks Warren and his wife Keri.
