Willard “Bill” Booth, age 93, of Montevallo, Alabama, passed away on July 30, 2017 surrounded by his family. He served in the US Army during World War II. He retired from ABEX in Calera. He was preceded in death by his wife, Claudie Hood Booth; sons, Charles and Paul Booth; father, Lee Booth; mother, Eva Mae Allen Booth; and six brothers and sisters. He is survived by his children, Bobby Booth (Anna), Debra Polk (Gene) and Joseph Booth (Sherrie); 15 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and 11 great-great-grandchildren. A Celebration of Bill’s Life will be held on Wednesday, August 2, 2017 at 2:00 PM at Rockco Funeral Home (Montevallo), with visitation to begin at 1:00 PM. Burial will follow at Ashby Cemetery.
