Phyllis Jean Frederick, age 80, of Montevallo, passed away February 6, 2017. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ira C. Frederick; sons, Ira Curtis Frederick, Jr. and Jacky L. Frederick; father, Morgan G. Lovejoy; and mother, Emmie Lee Lovejoy. She is survived by her daughters, Karen Bell (Jim) and Meredith Loggins (Kenneth); sons, Michael R. Frederick (Faye) and Bryan O. Frederick (Phyllis A.); 12 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; sister, Mitchie Lucas; brother, James “Jimmy” Lovejoy; and aunt, Annie Lumpkin. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 8, 2017 from 5:00-8:00 PM at Rockco Funeral Home (Montevallo). Her funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 9, 2017 at 11:00 AM at Rockco Funeral Home (Montevallo), with Bro. Steve Johnson to officiate. Burial will follow at Ashby Cemetery.
