David “Pop” Thomas age 75 of Calera, Alabama passed away on Monday, October 3, 2016 at his home. He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years Gwen Thomas; son, David Thomas III (Kathy); grandsons, Noah Thomas (Kira) and Adam Thomas (Rachel); great-grandkids, Asher and Brynley Thomas; brother, Terry Thomas. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 5, 2016 from 6-8 pm for friends at Northside Baptist Church in Calera. His funeral services will be held on Thursday, October 6, 2016 at 11 am at Northside Baptist Church in Calera. He will lie-in-state one hour prior to his service.
