Mrs. Mary Nell Anderson Nettles

She was married at St. Charles Ave. Baptist Church in New Orleans, LA to Eugene H. Nettles.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Ernestine Anderson; her father, Alfred Anderson; and an infant brother, James Alfred.

She is survived by her husband, Eugene Nettles to whom she was married for over 57 years; two children, Miriam Elaine Heintz (David) and Eugene H. Nettles II; two grandchildren, Jacob (Brittany) and Evan; and a soon to be born great-grandchild, Liam Walker Heintz. She is also survived by three sisters, Angelene (Lawrence), Alpha Motley (John-deceased) and Glannie Wilson (Don-deceased); three brothers, James (Celia), Johnny (Janis) and Gregory (Kay); and numerous nieces and nephews.

She graduated from Bibb County High School in Centreville, AL and Harriet L. Mather School of Nursin of New Orleans, LA.

Funeral services will be held at Shady Grove Baptist Church on Hwy 139. Visitation will be at the church from 10 to 12 on Wednesday, 17 September 2014. Johnye Horton will officiate at graveside services following visitation.
