Marvin Keith Jones

Marvin Keith Jones, age 71, of Brookwood, Alabama passed away on Monday, September 26, 2022. Marvin was born February 21, 1951 to George Denny Jones and Inez Tennison Jones. Keith graduated from Ensley High School, then served in the US Navy. He retired from US Steel as a millwright. He was a member of Restoration Church in McCalla. He enjoyed farming and loved the mountains. He loved his family and will be remembered as a kind soul.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Gloria June Stewart Jones; and grandson, Sam. He is survived by his brother, George "Ken" Jones (Alicia) of Helena, AL; stepchildren, Randy Stewart, Roxanne Harrison (David) and Ben Stewart (Tisha); seven grandchildren; one niece, two nephews, one great-niece and three great-nephews.

A visitation for Keith will be held Thursday, September 29, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Rockco Funeral Home, 3715 Highway 25, Montevallo, Alabama 35115. A graveside service will occur Friday, September 30, 2022 at 10:15 AM at Alabama National Cemetery, 3133 Highway 119, Montevallo, Alabama 35115. Pastor Rex Hare will officiate.

In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to Restoration Church, 21406 Hwy 216, McCalla, AL 35111.
