Lois Evelyn Lucas

Mrs. Lucas was a long time member of Montevallo First Baptist Church and taught Sunday School faithfully for 47 years. She was also a member of WMU (Woman’s Missionary Union) and the Silver Club.

Lois is survived by her daughter, Gail Lucas Cofield of Montevallo; son, Gary Lucas (Dianne) of Pelham; granddaughter, Tara Latham (Brian); grandson, Josh Lucas of Pelham; and great grandchildren, Brianna, Beckham and Brian of Fairhope.

She is preceded in death by her husband, David Lucas; parents; two brothers and two sisters.

A visitation for Lois will be held Saturday, May 15, 2021 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Rockco Funeral Home, 3715 Highway 25, Montevallo, Alabama 35115. The funeral service will occur Saturday, May 15, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Rockco Funeral Home with the burial following at Shelby Memory Gardens, Calera, AL.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Montevallo First Baptist Church Sanctuary Renovation Fund.
