Leslie Dean Burrage Turner, age 52, died March 18, 2020, at her home in Dogwood, Alabama. Leslie grew up in Montevallo and graduated from Montevallo High School. As a medical professional for over 30 years, she was kind, humble, and generous as she used her nursing knowledge as a resource to serve her patients, family, and friends. She was currently working as a registered nurse at Southeast Hospice Network. Although she achieved great success in her role as a nurse, she will be remembered most for being a wonderful mother with immeasurable love for her son, Trey Turner.
Leslie is preceded in death by her mother Marian Sue Harris Burrage, grandparents John Harris, Millie Ruth Greene, Donald Greene, Robert and Vivian Burrage and uncle Tim Harris. She is survived by her father, Pete Burrage (Claudia); son, Jerral H. Turner III “Trey”; brother, Eric Burrage (Valerie); sister, Kristen Elliff (Tim); brother; Peter Burrage (Kristen); cousin, Rita “Niece” Wilson (Paul); treasured nieces and nephews, Tyler Wilson, Chelsey Wilson Bias (Justin), Jake Elliff (Cassidy), Zack Elliff, Landon Burrage, Christian Leapley, Ethan Beaver, and Lily Burrage; Great nieces and nephews: Haddie and Kellen Elliff and Jaxon Bias; lifetime friends Stanley, Dolores, Justin and Matthew Allen, and an extensive list of other family and friends.
