Leathie Elizabeth Holsomback, age 80, of Marvel, AL, passed away November 27, 2015. Elizabeth was a member of Marvel Baptist Church and she worked in the cafeteria as a cook for West Blocton Elementary School for over 30 years. She was an outdoor person and she enjoyed life. She was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, Alfred Ray Holsomback; and her granddaughter, Ali Holsomback. She is survived by her children, Butch Holsomback (Sue), Gail Boothe (J.R.), Mike Holsomback, and Greg Holsomback; 8 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; and brother, M. E. Martin. Her visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 1, 6-8 PM at Rockco Funeral Home (Montevallo). Her funeral service will on Wednesday, December 2 at 11:00 AM at Rockco, with burial to follow at Macedonia Cemetery in Pea Ridge, AL. Bro. Stan Dawson and Bro. Greg Sellers will officiate.
