Leadie Mae Payne, age 89, of Alabaster, Alabama died November 6, 2014. She was a Godly woman and attended Alabaster Church of God when she was able. She loved to quilt and garden.
Leadie was preceded in death by her husband, Roscoe C. Payne; and her children, Tony Payne, Bonnie Payne Weaver and Tim Payne. She is survived by her grandchildren, Dale Payne, Richard Payne, Angela Payne Street, Kevin Payne, Kyle Payne, Kimela Wendt, Michelle Weaver and Kim Payne; numerous great- grandchildren; brother, James Davis; and sisters, Mildred Thigpen and Nan McAlpine
Her funeral service will be held on Monday, November 11, 2014 at 11:00 AM at Rockco Funeral Home (Montevallo). Visitation will be from 10:00 until 11:00. Roger Abernathy will officiate and burial will be at Pelham City Cemetery.
