Joyce Angelene Weeks

Angelene is survived by her husband of 69 years, Lawrence Weeks, of Randolph, AL;

daughter, Sharon (Logan) Hope, of Brierfield, AL; sons, Andy (Mindy) Weeks, of Thorsby, AL and Alan Weeks, of Wetumpka, AL; sister, Glannie Wilson, of Marion, AL; brothers, Johnny (Jan) Anderson of Randolph, AL and Greg (Kay) Anderson of Frisco City, AL; grandchildren, Jonathan (Gina) Pate, Paige Gillan, Josh (Andrea) Weeks, Jesse (Amy) Weeks, Traci (Keith) Mitchel, Ashley (Steve) Goodman and Lindsay (Coty) Barrett; 14 great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild on the way and a host of nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Ernestine and Alfred Anderson; sisters, Mary (Gene) Nettles, and Alfa (John) Motley; brothers, James Alfred Anderson and James William (Celia) Anderson; granddaughter, Lindsey Pate; and daughter-in-law, Rosemary Weeks.

She graduated from Bibb County High School and owned Weeks Auto Paint and Supplies.

She attended Union Springs Baptist Church of Randolph, AL before her illness. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend.

Services will be held Tuesday, February 1, 2022 at 2:00 pm. at Shady Grove Baptist Church in Randolph, AL. Visitation will be from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm at the church preceding the service. The service will be led by Bro. Evie Megginson of Randolph, AL.

Pallbearers are Jonathan Pate, Josh Weeks, Jesse Weeks, Tyler Gillan, Logan Hope and Eugene Nettles. Honorary pallbearers are Amy Dispennette, Kaitlyn Wood, Laura Tucker, and Chad Sentell from Expectcare Hospice.

Donations can be made to Shady Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Randolph, AL in her memory.
