Joyce Howard Lee

Joyce always had a smile on her face and was loved by everyone, whether she was volunteering at church, working in the lunchroom at Thompson Elementary, or spending time with her family, she was loved!

Joyce was a longtime member of First Presbyterian Church of Alabaster where she served in many capacities over the years. She was always willing to help where needed. She loved the outdoors where she spent time gardening and had a love of fishing. She was a great cook and loved doing crafts. Joyce was affectionately known as "MawMaw" to her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Joyce loved her friends and family well, she was loved!

Joyce is survived by her children, Steve Lee(Sharon), Lisa Burke, Kelly Whitman(Harper) and Kevin Lee(Paige). Grandchildren, Bobby Lee, Stephen Lee, Grant Lee, Brooke Lee, Meagan Taylor, Dylan Burke, Mason Whitman, Nolen Burke, Morgan Whitman, Toby Lee and Tristan Lee;12 great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; siblings, Curtis Howard, Eloise Blankenship and Jody Howard; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Joyce was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert "Bob" Lee; siblings, Clemmie Robertson, Amuel Howard, Pete Howard, Ozelle Eaves, Billy Joe Howard, Jewell Wyatt and Tressie Allen.

A visitation for Joyce will be held Saturday, March 4th, 2023 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at First Presbyterian Church of Alabaster, 8828 Highway 119, Alabaster, Alabama 35007. The funeral service will occur Saturday, March 4th, 2023 at 3:00 PM also at the First Presbyterian Church of Alabaster with burial to follow at Elliottsville Cemetery, Highway 119 S, Alabaster, Alabama 35007.

Pallbearers will be Stephen Lee, Grant Lee, Dylan Burke, Nolan Burke, Mason Whitman and Toby Lee.
