Adam was preceded in death by his grandparents, Charles Corley, Myra Corley, Sanford Williams and Willa Dean Williams.
Adam is survived by his wife, Dara Williams; children, Adeline and Charlie Williams; parents, Timothy Williams and Anita Humphries; sisters, Elizabeth Williams, Sara Shelley (Tim), and Crystal Rice (Ronald); and several nieces.
Adam graduated from Oak Grove High School in 2008. All his life, he knew he wanted to join the military. In high school, he decided to follow his passion and enlisted in the Marines. Adam proudly served his country from 2008 to 2012, when he was honorably discharged as a Corporal. He loved his country and kept an American flag hanging above his bed so he could sleep under the stars and stripes.
Adam was a devoted, loving father and would “get the kids’ bellies” to make them giggle uncontrollably. Adeline and Charlie ran to meet him at the door when he got home from work every day. Adam had a witty and dry sense of humor and was an incredible conversationalist. He was extremely hardworking and dedicated to his career. He also loved video games, anime, and Alabama football.
A memorial service will be held for Adam on Friday, February 11, 2022 at 1:00 PM at Rockco Funeral Home (Montevallo), with a committal service to follow at 2:45 PM at Alabama National Cemetery.
Memorial donations may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project in his name.
