Edna June Wade, age 80, of Helena, Alabama passed away on Sunday, October 16, 2022. She was raised in Aldrich, Alabama by her grandparents, Daisy Bell and Newt Latimer. She worked for over 30 years at Indian Springs School. She attended Cedar Grove Holiness Church.
She was a tremendous wife, mother, and grandmother. She was loved by all.
She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Donald Harold Wade; daughter, Connie Jackson (Rich) of Gulfport, MS; sons, Donald David Wade (Cathy) of Helena, AL and Ronald Wayne Wade (Jeanette) of Helena, AL; six grandchildren; and twelve great-grandchildren.
Her funeral service will be held on Monday, October 24, 2022 at 12:00 PM at Rockco Funeral Home (Montevallo), with visitation to begin at 11:00 AM. A private burial will follow at Alabama National Cemetery. Preacher Maynard Brasher will officiate.
