Marie was born in Shelby County, Alabama, to Johnnie and Hazel Littlefield. She married William Lawley on November 3, 1952, and spent her life dedicated to her family.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years; her parents; sister, Bea Bass; brothers, Johnny Littlefield and Billy Wayne Littlefield; and nephew, Stevie Bass. Left behind to cherish her memory are her children, Sherry Lutz (Willie), Linda Kiker, Vicki Rye (Steve), and Keith Lawley; grandchildren, Jennifer Stanley, Angela May (Jason), Brandon Stanley (Samantha), Brad Kiker (Lauren), Adam Kiker (Jordan), Meredith Rye, and Matthew Rye; great-grandchildren, Amie Stanley, Katelyn, Zachary and Bentley May, Sadie Swain, Anna Margaret, Mykia and Paislee Kiker; sister, Jimmie Harris as well as a host of nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held on Monday, September 21, 2020, at 12:30 PM at Macedonia Cemetery. Guests may also choose to attend the service remotely using the Facebook Livestream link below.
