Donna Marie Hyde Lutz

Donna Marie Hyde Lutz, age 59, of Montevallo, passed away on August 4, 2019 surrounded by family. She was born in Virginia to Glen and Doris Hyde, the middle of three daughters. She was a member of Antioch Baptist Church and was dedicated caring for her family. Donna always liked to look her best and made the best sweet tea around. She loved Elvis and Gatlinburg, Tennessee. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.

Donna was preceded in death by her mother, Doris Hackney Hyde. Left to treasure her memory are her husband of 37 years, Richard Lutz; son, David Lutz (Brittney); Angela Daviston (Byron); grandchildren, Colten Lutz, Andrew Daviston, Emalynn Daviston and expecting Maverick Daviston; sisters, Deborah Blair (Freddie) of Pounding Mill, VA and Vickie Davis (Randy) of Montevallo, AL; several nieces and nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and adopted stray children.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 6, 2019 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at Rockco Funeral Home (Montevallo). Her funeral service will be at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, August 7, 2019 at Rockco Funeral Home (Montevallo), with burial to follow at Antioch Cemetery in Pea Ridge, AL. Bro. David Lamb will officiate and Antioch Baptist Church will provide a meal following the committal.
