Bobby Carrol Roberts, age 63, of Clanton, Alabama passed away on Monday, June 28, 2021. Bobby was born October 17, 1957 to Herman and Gertrude Roberts and was raised in Calera, Alabama. He grew up a good ole country boy and kept that same lively spirit as he grew old. He liked to have a good time and enjoyed country music. Bobby loved his career as a heavy equipment operator. He had over 30 years experience operating a Track loader and was very good at his job. Much of that he worked for his long time friend at Edwards’ Excavating. When he wasn’t working at his job, he was busy at home. The only time he ever sat down was to listen to rain on the porch or to watch the Andy Griffith show at night. He enjoyed working in the yard at Bulldog Bend and walking along the creek that ran behind it with his grandchildren. He loved all animals, but especially loved his bulldog, Bella.
Bobby is proceeded in death by his son, Joshua Hobson; parents, Herman Roberts and Gertrude Roberts; brother, Ken Roberts; sister, Sherry Compton Rice; and sister-in-law, Earlene McGiboney.
