Benjamin Noah Crider, age 5, of Montevallo, Alabama, went to be with Jesus on August 11, 2019. The highlight of Benny's life was going to Disney World this year and he was looking forward to starting Kindergarten. He was always smiling, happy and rambunctious as little boys should be. He was afraid of heights, but loved to go fast! He loved to sing and dance, and made friends everywhere he went. He was a blessing to so many during his too brief time.
Left to treasure his memory are his parents, Kirsten Booth and Lincoln Crider; grandparents, Norman and Susan Booth and Lynn and Jade Crider; great-grandfathers, Art Green, and Norman Oldham; great -grandmother, Karen Wallace (Tony); uncles, Nick Booth (Danielle), Noah Booth, Rick Green (Theresa); cousin, Lily Booth; great-uncles, Scott Booth (Sarah) and Pat Booth (Dee); his best canine friend, Harley; and too many other treasured friends to name. Welcoming him to Heaven are his great-grandparents, Nana G, Papa G, Grandma Bow, Nana Louise, Nana, Phyllis Green, and Aunt Kelly Green.
A Celebration of Benny's Life will be held on Friday, August 16, 2019 at 2:00 PM at Rockco Funeral Home (Montevallo), with Genoa Purdum officiating. The family will receive friends beginning at 12:00 PM. Guests are requested to wear Disney attire in his memory. Burial will follow at Six Mile Baptist Cemetery in Brierfield. The family requests any donations be directed to Magic Moments at www.magicmoments.org, Children's of Alabama at www.childrensal.org or Cherubs at www.cherubs-cdh.org.
