I am heartbroken to hear of Jai's passing.  I just found out from my brother tonight, and I would surely have been with you at the funeral today if I had known about it.  Your father/husband is one of the bright lights in my childhood memories.  He was unfailingly kind to me when I was a little girl, and I am so sad to have lost touch with him.  Jimmy, Veena and Monica... this man loved you deeply.  And I know you took really good care of him.  His warmth and gentle nature run in your veins.  I am so sorry for your terrible loss.
