Elaine Martinez

A visitation for Elaine will be held Wednesday, July 5, 2023 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel Montebello, 913 West Whittier Blvd, Montebello, CA 90640. A funeral mass will occur Thursday, July 6, 2023 at 10:00 AM at Nativity Church, 3743 Tyler Ave, El Monte, Ca 91731.

From the moment she was born, Elaine brought joy and warmth into the lives of her family and friends. She was such a giving person, giving you 100% of herself in everything she did. If you had an opportunity to cross paths with her then she definitely rubbed off on you. She was a giving person, no matter how little she had, she always made sure that everyone around her was taken care of.

For 40+ years she dedicated to serving the youth of the Mountain View School District as an Instructional Aide in various special education classrooms. She not only made an impact in the lives of children, but also in the lives of her peers as well. She had a unique way of working with children with special needs and did her best to help these children reach their full potential.

If you knew my mom you knew that she found joy in playing bingo with her sister, nieces and friends. She will truly be missed in the bingo halls. She also enjoyed playing yahtzee and solitaire. If you ever attended a party then you would also know that she enjoyed making cakes, and trying different recipes she would come across.

Along with her legacy of love and cherished moments, she leaves behind her Husband Luis, Son's Louie and Paul, her sister's and brother's Helen, Vera Ann, Angie, Augustine Jr, Julian, and Linda, and plenty of nieces and nephews.

She will greatly be missed! Rest in Heaven Elaine!
