Grandma I'ma miss you so much
You and I use to go to the marketa,church every Sunday to go out and eat as I grew up I have so much to thank you! 
I know your now with Grandpa Zarco and mis tios. But I'ma miss you so much 
Last week I spend with you meant alot to me. I show you a picture from years ago and you remember exactly who I was proudly you said  when I ask you who it was and your answer was pos tu Leticia as you always call me. Friday before I left we was watching news and it was national kiss day and I told you let's go see the guys so we can give kisses away and your answer was lest go. After that you call me to get close to you and you said ven mijita para darte un abrazo porque es dia del abrazo and I said no grandma es El dia del beso you said no lo vamos aser El dia del abrazo and you hug me so thight. Grandma I have so many memories of us that I will always sharing you thru my life, but loosing you is the hardest one of all. 
I Love you beyond the end of time! You will forever live in my heart and thoughts. Til we see again one day!!!

To my tios wish deep in my heart 
God gives you the strength and find the peace your heart needs by loosing grandma and just a month apart from grandpa's one year of being gone.
To my cousin's specially to Ale I love you so much for being always there for my grandparents.

Familia Galvan,

Bertha was a big part of family functions at both the Galvan's & Villegas'.  Bertha was a great cook.  At family functions you could always count on Bertha bringing one of her infamous dishes, queso con chile, cueritos, etc. ( Mr. Galvan had mad cooking skills too).   Thankfully Pat and Luz were born one day apart.  Bertha loved Luz as her own daughter and was happy to host Pat & Luz's birthday at her home and make chicken pozole -   oh so good.  For me it was a joy watching Bertha arrive at events in one of her new outfits - as she was a fashionista - always something new, hair done and well manicured.  I made sure to comment on her outfit of choice.  Upon arriving, she was honored by all - it was obvious she was loved and well respected. There are many memories Bertha has gifted us with and that's where I will keep her memory alive - remembrance. 

Bertha and Sr. Galvan are and always will be a unit, a pair, a team, a couple.  It has been under a year since (her love) Mr. Galvan passed, it doesn't surprise me that she's decided to join him - as they were and are husband & wife.  

Bertha que en paz descanse.

Senora (Bertha) - was a loving caring mother/grandmother that loved her family unconditionally.  She welcomed me into her family and always treated me as a daughter.  She was a strong independent lady that worked to earn extra cash.  Senora Bertha was kind and gave generously to others.  She enjoyed shopping (sharp dresser) treating herself to manicures and getting her hair done. 

I will miss our conversations about our kids, family, gardens, flowers and your beloved Juarez.

I will always miss you, but I find comfort in knowing that you have continued your journey and along the path you have met Zarco and now both of you are rejoicing, watching over us.  

Until we meet again my sweet beautiful Senora!
