We are sad to announce the passing of Faigie (Frances) Berg (1942-2023), who died surrounded by her loved ones at her cherished cottage in Saint-Donat. She was matriarch of a large extended family, the mother of Sabine, Stephen, Miriam, Avrom and Sarah, Bubby of Hannah, Joseph, Rachel, Noah, Sonia and Mischa, Bohbeh of Zev and Milo, and widow of Moishe. Faigie was a free spirit with many interests and passions throughout her life, as a dancer, a world traveller, a kayaker, a yoga-enthusiast, and she always maintained a welcoming home with a serving of Bubby chicken for whoever came to the door. She will be missed by all.
