Pedro Pedroso was born in Habana, Cuba on May 12, 1949 to Rosalina Pedroso Zayas and Pedro Pedroso Sr. He came to the United States in 1980, arriving as one of thousands on the Mariel Boatlifts. He landed in Miami and wanted to go to New York but there was no availability so he opted to come to California.
On December 17, 1987, Pedro proudly became a naturalized United States Citizen. He was a hard worker and taught himself to drive a semi truck. Eventually, he purchased his own semi and became an owner operator. Finally, he was his own boss!
Pedro met Norma on Valentine's Day, February 14, 1997 and they remained together ever since. Pedro really enjoyed Salsa Music and dancing and spending his time with his sweetheart Norma and their friends...with a good bottle of wine.
Pedro passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family and loved ones. Pedro leaves to cherish his memory, his son Pedro Yubran Pedroso Carrero (Angelina), his daughter Yordanka Pedroso, his grandchildren Roselin Katia, Josie, John, Yubran and his longtime significant other and love, Norma Jean Maldonado and her children, Xandra Maldonado, Rafaela Maldonado-Ellman (Brad) and Andres Maldonado (Jenessa).
