John Eric Comia

September 21, 2017 at the age of 50. Eric is survived by his mother, Shirley Comia (nee Gayoso)

sisters, Agnes Comia Falletta and Cynthia Cecile Comia, his children Paolo and Aaron, family dog,

Ringo Comia and his wife of 20 years Lalaine Comia (nee Lasala). He is predeceased by his father,

Abelardo and older brother Glenn.

John Eric was born in Manila, Philippines in 1966. Elementary years were spent at Colegio De San

Agustin Makati City Philippines, High School years at Don Bosco Technical School Mandaluyong City,

Philippines and College at University of Sto.Tomas with degree in Electronics and Communications

Engineering. He is also a certified Microsoft systems Engineer. He worked as Director of Document

center for Screen Actors Guild – American Federation of Television and Radio Art for more than 13 years.

John was a devoted father, husband and an avid traveler. He enjoyed gardening,

fixing his collection of classic Toyota cars, watching movies,

reading and playing with Ringo, the family dog.

He loves spending time with family,

who were the most important part of his life.

In a blink of an eye, you were suddenly gone

No uttered words, not even goodbye

I am filled with much sadness, unfathomable & deep

Our only solace, God’s grace amidst our grief

So long my love, father, son & friend

We’ll see you again, when the days doesn’t end

I think of your smile and the blessings you’ve brought

To so many, perhaps you’ve never thought.

The love we have was unique and true

Only God knows what my heart is going through

I will stay strong for that’s what you want
