The precious love your family has always shared is such a testimony to who you were and still are in the lives and hearts of your family and all you have touched. What a blessing you have been!!

We didn't know her for very long, but we thought she was a very lovely person.  She will be missed by her family and friends.

Iva, you were a blessing to have as my mother-in-law. Your example of endless encouragement was amazing. I hope and pray that I will be able to live the fruits of love, gentleness, kindness, and self-control that I witnessed in your life. It was an honor to be with you as you went home to be with your Heavenly Father.

Mom, you were a blessing in my life. You showed such great love, generosity and thoughtfulness. My family always enjoyed the baked goodies and your recipes are treasured. I especially enjoyed your delivery of the sour cream coffee cake on Christmas morning! You will be missed, but I know you are now praising the Lord and experiencing paradise. You will forever be in my heart. I love you.

We mourn the loss of our dear Iva We are deeply grieved. We have two ways of remembering people who leave us and start another journey. We either cry over their absence, or smile and remember them through the countless memories that have stayed back. I'm sure Iva wants you to smile forever. S/he's watching you now. Stay strong. S/he enlightened the hearts of many. Let's cherish her memory forever. Just remember we are always there for you. Our caring thoughts are with you.

May god grant you eternal peace and comfort in your new home of eternity .  May God"s loving arms comfort and welcome you home. You are and will always be loved for your kindness, generous love and everlasting smile . Rest in peace Iva !  We love and miss you.

Would like to say thank you first for giving me Barbara she is a gift from god and you are a angel I want to thank you for Excepting me into the family at the age of 15 and always making me fill welcome you lost Eddie at 55 and for 30 years you never felt sorry for your self you provided nothing but strength for the family you were always there for your grand kids never missing a game or any school functions you thought Barbara life happiness love for people never hate how to cook my god what a cook that carried down to Jennifer she is amazing I want to thank you for always being to firist one in the car lane to pick up my kids after school letting Brian drive your car with no license up and down your street Iva I want to thank you again for never passing judgment on me you are my mother and the mother I always wanted even in the last days you're Strength and love of family you couldn't say it but we could see it in your eyes I will never forget you your legacy lives on with your grandchildren god says one day we will see each other again and I hope you will have a tray of chocolate chip cookies for us all your at peace now enjoy your new life put a good word in for me to God tell Eddie I miss him we had some good time I again want to thank you for working three jobs so barb and I would have a beautiful wedding I love you and we will see each other again every time I see a bird I will think of you you know what I mean your forth son Dan

Mom, you were my rock for so many years, always taking care of me and our family.  What an honor to be your rock for the past 4 years when you needed an advocate to ensure your needs were met.  I love you and miss you every day!

Iva was like a second mom to me.  Growing up, I spent so much time with Barb and her family.  She always invited me to stay over for a home cooked meal after working long days as a nurse.  I can picture her sitting in her kitchen for a minute and then whipping up a fantastic meal for her own four kids plus their friends!  Everyone was welcomed at her house.  Iva loved life - many fond memories of summers spent at the Newport Beach house and Iva driving us EVERYWHERE :).  What a great role model she was.  A working super mom well ahead of her time!  It's pretty cool when your friend's mom can pull off calling you by your nickname ("Fin").  Good times!  Thoughts and prayers to Barb and family.

I always thought Barbara had the perfect mom! Whenever we would hang out at her house she would be cooking and taking care of her family! Even though she worked full time, she was fully involved with her family and always happy to drive us everywhere and put up with us! It's no wonder Barbara is such an amazing woman when she had such a great role model! Nancy Leonard Mandic
