Crudgington,Gloria Lynn (nee Stokus) died peacefully with her husband and soulmate Cleve by her side on Wednesday, 09/25/2024, at their home in Monrovia, California. For six years she battled with Multiple System Atrophy, an extremely rare and fatal neurological disease that slowly chipped away at her strength and vitality. Gloria finally succumbed to MSA on her 75th birthday. She and Cleve had been together for 47 years, spending the last 45 living in the community they dearly love, and fighting to resolve major issues such as the protection of our pristine hillside by the formation of the Monrovia Wilderness Preserve. The funeral will be held on Thursday, October 10th at Live Oak Memorial Park, with services beginning at the onsite chapel at 10 am and concluding with a celebratory luncheon reception at the Monrovia Community Center in the Kay Dalton Room. It is Gloria's wish for services to be open to all Monrovians wanting to honor her life, and in lieu of flowers, a donation is preferred to either of the following entities, by check gifted at the service or a contribution made online.
