Evelyn Rita Parisi, affectionately known as Evie, passed away on Thursday, January 14, 2016; just two days shy of her 86th birthday. She was proceeded in death by her husband Anthony "Tony" Parisi, the love of her life and constant companion. She has passed from this life, but is reunited in eternal life with her husband Tony, brothers Frank and Sam Solome, and sister Jean Lovecchio. Evie was born in Chicago, Illinois and moved to Pasadena, CA with her family in 1968. She had a zest for life, a beautiful smile, and a silly sense of humor. She loved being surrounded by her children and grandchildren and they loved being around her playful spirit. She was passionate about keeping family tradition by enriching lives through great Italian food. She will forever be in the hearts of many including her three children Laurie McVey and husband David, Cindy Scott, Anthony Parisi and wife Andrea; grandchildren Shannon Cowen and husband Andrew, Ryan McVey, Cameron McVey, Dylan Scott, Samuel Parisi, Joseph Parisi; great-grandchildren Katelyn, Lorelei, Brielle; sister Pauline Marcello and sister-in-laws Nancy Parisi and Helen Solome.
