Esther Lillian Miller passed away August 19th in Arcadia at the age of 82. Services will be held at Pasadena Christian Center, 2588 E. Colorado Blvd., Pasadena, CA at 10:00am with Pastor James North officiating. Burial will follow at Live Oak Memorial Park, 200 E. Duarte Rd., Monrovia, CA. at 12:00pm. Esther was born in a farmhouse in De Forest, Wisconsin on August 16, 1932 to Elmer and Elsie Meixner. She was born as a twin sister to Edna who died from pneumonia at a very early age. Her siblings included Florence, Mabel, Dorothy, Conrad, Edna, Mae and David. Esther was educated at De Forest High School and graduated in a class of approx. 15 other seniors. Esther and David were married in 1953, and enjoyed life together for 62 years in California after meeting at Bible Camp at Spencer Lake Wisconsin when Esther was 18. Together they owned and operated Mon-Arc Plumbing Company until Dave’s retirement in 1997. Esther was also a church secretary at the church they attended for 25 years. Her interests included crafts and decorating, as well as making dozens of quilts which she gave away to her family members. She loved music, and played trumpet and sang in the church choirs. She worshiped at the same church in Pasadena since 1953. Esther is survived by her husband, David; sister, Mae; brother, David; children, Richard, Randy, Dale, and Debra; 14 grandchildren; and 8 Great Grandchildren.
