Our loving and devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend Esther Teran Huerta, 92, was called upon by the Lord on March 5, 2017 to join him in his kingdom of eternal life.
Loved by all she met, Esther was funny, feisty, strong and wise, and she never forgot to stop and smell the roses. Her everlasting beauty truly will live on in all the lives of everyone who knew her. May she dance in our hearts forever.
Esther is preceded in death by her husband Modesto G. Huerta; parents Josefina and Celestino Sr; brothers, Phillip, Jose, Alfredo, and Celestino Jr. Teran; sisters, Hortencia Aguirre, Concepcion Castillo, Ofelia Holguin and Esperanza Teran; and daughter Sandra Huerta. She is survived by her children: George (Becky), Doris (Jeff), Tom (Helen), and Elizabeth; her seven grandchildren: Raquel (Daniel), Michelle (Manny), Krista (Frank), Sarah, Kelly, Anthony, and Aileen; eight great-grandchildren: Winter, Jordan, Jordie, Ember, Evan, Erik, Eleanor, and Audrie. And her brothers Carlos and Julian Teran.
