On Monday, August 19th, 2024, our beloved Eloise Harmon, affectionately known as "Weezy," peacefully received her angel wings at the age of 77. Born on February 5, 1947, in North Carolina, Eloise’s journey through life took her from the countryside of her birthplace to the vibrant streets of New Jersey, and finally to sunny California, where she spent her final years. Eloise was a devoted wife to the late Isiah Harmon, and together they built a life rich in love, laughter, and cherished memories. They shared [number] years of marriage, during which their home was a sanctuary filled with warmth and joy. As a cherished mother, Eloise leaves behind a legacy of love and fond memories shared with her four children: Angela, Dianne, Lewis, and Anthony. Her role as a grandmother brought her immense joy, and she adored her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, each holding a special place in her heart. Eloise is also survived by her mother, Ethel Robinson Watts. Her close bonds with her aunts, Meleader Craig, Susie Jones, and Magalean Ward, and her uncle, Richard Robinson, shaped her into the remarkable woman she became. Her extended family, including a host of cousins and friends, will forever cherish the memories they created together. Beyond her family, Eloise touched the lives of many, being a mom to everyone in the neighborhood. She had a gift for making people feel welcomed and loved, and her home was a gathering place where everyone knew they could find a warm meal and a listening ear. Eloise was famous for her pumpkin bread, a recipe that started as a holiday staple but became a popular request year-round. In her spare time, Eloise enjoyed gardening, cooking, and watching her favorite TV shows, such as Judge Judy, Family Feud, and Alfred Hitchcock. She had a special talent for tackling intricate puzzles and crossword games. And nothing brought her more delight than indulging in her favorite seafood, especially shrimp and crab legs. Her legacy of love, kindness, and generosity will continue to live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know her. Eloise’s memory will be cherished forever by her family, friends, and all whose lives she touched. Eloise Harmon will be deeply missed but never forgotten, as her spirit will continue to guide and inspire all who knew her.
