Wanda was a good woman who loved God, America, and her family. She always did her very best. She was a faithful wife, an inspiring mother, a dutiful daughter, and a very funny and creative person. During WWII she worked in factories for the war effort. She had many successful careers the last being in retail sales. In Melrose Park, IL, she served as president of the Winston Park Women’s Club for many years. She was a prize-winning gardener, a talented seamstress, and enjoyed music and old movies.
Her family thanks the kind staff at Merrill Gardens in Monroe who were like family to Wanda for the last five years, and the Monroe Fire Department for their professional and caring help.
