Rose Marie Brunson

Rose is survived by her daughter Valerie, her two grandchildren Nathan and Natalie, and her sisters, Jean, Phyllis, Shirley, and Susie (Darlene).

Rose was an entrepreneur all her life. She owned several businesses and enjoyed investing in other ventures. Rose was married to Lee Brunson for 25 years and was widowed in 2012. She was an extremely generous, selfless, and caring person all her life. She was a caregiver for her son Tegnear who suffered from M.S. and passed away in 2010. Her favorite pastimes were quilting and needlework which she loved to share with the people in her life. Rose was an excellent cook and her specialty was pies and chicken noodle soup with homemade noodles.

Fond memories of Rose include trips to play bingo with her daughter, brother Kenneth, sister in-law Sharon, and friends. Her grandchildren remember her babysitting them before and after school when they were young. Rose enjoyed taking trips back to Minnesota to spend time with her parents and siblings all her life.

There will be no formal service, Rose will be inurned in the IOOF cemetery in Monroe, WA. Please contact Monroe Floral at 360-794-7001 if you would like to order flowers to be laid at Rose’s headstone.
