Born in Maywood, IL in 1938 and passed away August 3rd, 2017 in Monroe, WA. Morton left this earth and into the arms of Jesus, his Lord and Savior. He put up a brave fight to live, but his body just gave out. He will be sadly missed by his family and friends. He leaves behind his children; Daniel, David and his wife (Nancy), Cynthia, Darrol and wife (Ilene), grandchildren; Christina, Brenda, John, Don, and Matt, great-grandchildren; Mia, Nolan, Caleb, Sophia, and Aniyah. Also survived by his sister Frances, and 2 brothers, Bob and Mark. Morton is preceded in death by his brother John and his parents Morton Sr. and Doris. Morton retired from Safeway as a warehouse worker and enjoyed his retirement taking trips to Leavenworth with family and friends. He loved his family and those grandchildren, oh those grandchildren and those great-grandchildren. Morton will be laid to rest at the Sultan Cemetery on August 10th at 1PM, everyone is welcome to attend. A memorial service will follow at 1:30PM at Sultan Baptist Church, 315 – 8th St., Sultan, WA 98294.
