1999. From the very beginning everyone could tell Kaytlyn had a kind, warm, caring soul. We all talk
about helping others and making the world a better place. Kaytlyn exemplified these traits and then
some. When Kaytlyn saw a person or animal in need, she stopped to help in any way possible. That is
who Kaytlyn was during her short life.
Kaytlyn graduated from Monroe High School in 2018 as an Honor Student. She obtained her Associates
in Criminology from Everett Community College and was attending Washington State University to
obtain her Bachelor’s in Criminal Justice. Her dream was to join the US Army as a K-9 MP and then
becoming a K-9 Police Officer.
Kaytlyn’s love for animals was amazing. She loved her cats Rex and Salem along with her two dogs
Parker and Enzo more than words can describe. She was the type of person who would bring home stray
animals to make sure they had food and shelter.
Kaytlyn left us far too early and will be missed by so many of her friends and family. The world lost a
shining star and is a bit dimmer. In her short 21 years, Kaytlyn taught us so much. We will use these
lessons to keep her love of life moving forward.
Kaytlyn is survived by her beautiful Mother, Gina, Step-Father Brett, Uncle Travis & Warren, Mark, and,
Aunt Nikki, cousins Susie and Austin, Grandfather Dallas, Grandmother Rhonda, and the entire Hogan
family. On the Hogan side of the family Kaytlyn is survived by her biological father Keilan and her aunts Shallen, Kellie and cousins Serenity, Kaylee and Elianna.
